Wishing everyone a fun day on the 4th. Be safe out there. Reno is having a bunch of fires and the authorities are nervous about more fires that may result due to the fireworks tonight.
I don't think Eagle Lake is doing a fireworks show. Too dangerous. I am sure Susanville will be doing something but we do not want to drive back there today. So, this will be the first 4th in a very, very long time that we have not been at a fireworks show.

Happy 4th of July, we are not having any firworks in Roseburg either, the city and the Jaycee's did nothing all year and a week before the 4th had a notice in the paper there would be no fireworks at Stewart Park this year, not only are we slow, nothing get's done around here. Mom and Bob are coming over for hamburgers this evening, hope you guys have a nice day.
Have a great bar-b-que. Tell Grandma and Bob hello. I sure am glad we have air conditioning in the trailer. It is VERY WARM today. We have been inside lounging around reading, doing puzzles, playing cards and watching movies. A pretty lazy day. I find myself trying to figure out things to do instead of just relaxing and doing nothing.
I know you will be on the road tomorrow, will try to call you on your cell phone to wish you a happy birthday. Have a good trip to Reno and you should be able to find some good pictures to take in Reno. Mom
